Nigeria: Great Nigeria Insurance Plc has introduced PayDirect and Quickteller payment solutions to make it easier for customers to pay for their insurance premiums at any Deposit Money Bank nationwide.
The firm, in a statement by its Corporate Communications and Brand Manager, Oyinkansola Sobande, on Wednesday, said the innovation in service delivery was introduced to make insurance service more accessible to the populace.
She also said that the effort was part of the commitment of the GNI brand in meeting and surpassing the expectations of its clients.
The Head, Information Communications and Technology, GNI, Mr. Fasasi Kaseem, was quoted as saying that the new payment channels were introduced to provide a secure and fast way of enabling customers to make premium payments and renewals of existing insurance policies anywhere and anytime.
“While PayDirect offers a customer the opportunity to complete an insurance transaction in any bank nationwide, Quickteller on the other hand operates on simple easy-to- do steps that are self-explanatory,” he stated.
The Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of the company, Mrs. Cecilia Osipitan, while commenting on the new payment channels, said that the solutions were adopted to enable customers to pay for their services without stress.
She further said that considering the fact that insurance was gradually becoming an integral part of human existence with the emerging innovations in the insurance industry, the payment solutions had become necessary to encourage the insuring public to make their payments themselves.
