Making of a classy woman; what we should know

It is said that women radiate and express their elegance, confidence, and personality through how they appear. Hence, making a classy woman – we should know that our value, status, significance, and essence of an occasion come through a woman’s appearance.

As women, we spend most of our time creating illusions of what we would want to look like. But, unfortunately, most of these illusions never become a reality as we think the envisioned outfits are overbearing or, in some instances, ‘just not right.

What is confirmed as a woman is that you need to adequately appreciate what looks good on you to feel beautiful and classy. What agrees with your person and what doesn’t.

You need to understand what could be chic doesn’t necessarily mean going along with it. The accessory you hold in high esteem could tank what could have been an elegant appearance and worse? You probably wouldn’t know it.

I want to share some seemingly elusive tips of the proverbial ‘Classy and Elegant Woman’ in this piece.

1. Know What Looks Good On You

Women have varying body types; rectangle, inverted triangle, hourglass, pear, and apple. Whichever it is, you need to know what fits and makes you comfortable. Remember, in fashion, tried and tested is always a virtue. That said, do not hesitate to give new fits a try too.

2. Good Hygiene and Skin Care

In aspiring to be a classy woman, there can be no substitute to practicing good hygiene and skincare. This means polishing your nails, using skincare products that are worth the name, and getting that hair done. Body care can be a draining investment on the purse, but it wouldn’t be considered a radiant and confident look.

3. Less is Better

Understand, you look better when you wear the appropriate outfit. More of it ruins it all. So we need to be conscious of what makes the optimum bracket. Our costume can perhaps allow a little bit of skin if need be, but if there is one golden rule in fashion, do not overdo it.

4. Have an all-purpose handbag

Getting a bag that could be useful in so many ways yet easy to carry around can be strenuous. In doing so, we need to consider the brand, color, and outlook. A couple of these can be advantageous. Note, a handbag doesn’t just play a fashion role, and it helps you keep those tissues, lipstick, and chewing gums just in case.

5. The Scarf is Part of the Deal

Scarfs are beautiful accessories that denote style on sight. Unfortunately, in countries with hotter climates, they are usually uncommon for apparent reasons. Nevertheless, donning that red scarf on a chilly weekday to the office can be as harmless as a sleeping cat.

6. Style that hair!

A well-styled hair makes for an attractive and confident look. The glory and honor of every woman are in her hair. Taking care of the hair as regular as necessary is a fashion virtue, not a vice. Your facial and head/skull shape knowledge informs what style fits or how creative we adapt to new trends. How regular? I suppose you know better.

7. The suitable underclothes

Know the proper underclothes to don. You’d want something comfortable yet squares with your outfit. This is widely disregarded by many of us. The bra and panty’s color, shape, and brand should conflict with our outlook as class women.

8. Jewelry

For starters, you need to own a jewelry collection as a chic personality. Jewelry isn’t for the affluent as often misconstrued: it can spark your personality regardless of its value if appropriately donned. Again this is a color, shape, and choice game. Try not to be a miss.

9. Print on the Top, Plain on the Button

Striking the right balance between your blouse and skirt can turn heads around. But, you’ve got to stick to the prints and colorful design upwards and plain dress or jeans below to give you that gorgeous look you so want.

10. Deodorant or antiperspirant and Cologne chemistry

Every woman has ideally gotten a sharp nose for good smell, which means our individual insight into what gels with our body cannot be underestimated. Exploring what deodorant works best for our underarm is essential since we all do not have the same body chemistry due to several biological makeups. Cologne that exudes our confidence is also an essential part of the classy and elegant woman.

11. Turtle Neck

Turtle necks are generally not preferred by all as they are thought masculine. But make no mistake, the mere appearance in a turtle neck makes one come across as fashion-conscious, and even better, it is donned with a skirt, jeans, tights, pants, whatever. Your choice. After all, this, do not forget to exude confidence and charisma wherever you go. Be confident since you know you’d be the center of attention in the room, and if your outfit is a miss, it will not be a faux pas. On the contrary, it will be a statement!

12. Manicure and Pedicure 

Women have got other parts of the body that speaks volumes of who we are, where we come from, and what we stand for, and it is our fingernails and toenails. Interestingly, giving these a treat also must take into consideration the palm and the feet. The colors applied to the nails of both the finger and toes must be on-point and for the occasion. It showcases corporate persona, casual, and even age brackets.

Be like the peacock, and flaunt your confidence inside-out.
